How tryouts work
Who can post a tryout?
Any signed-in user can post a tryout. An organization or subscription is not required. Published listings are public, while participant lists and management tools stay private.
Can I register my child?
An authorized guardian can choose a managed child during registration. The child is the participant; the guardian acts and pays on their behalf. Each child needs a separate registration and slot.
Are tryouts free or paid?
The poster chooses a free or paid tryout. Paid listings show the base fee, HustlX transaction fee and total before payment. Free registration has no checkout; paid registration requires verified online payment.
Does registration guarantee selection?
Confirmed registration is for participation and does not guarantee selection. Advertised ages are guidance. If poster approval is required, a free registration stays pending until the poster accepts or declines it.
What happens if registration closes or a tryout is cancelled?
Registration closes when full, manually closed, cancelled or started. Cancellation does not promise an automatic refund. Organizers handle base-fee refund decisions; the HustlX transaction fee is non-refundable.
